<description>I just listen to Richard’s interview, it was great. This sound like my husband, he has been very support of me starting my PhD. I agree it helps to have your family support when taking on a new challenge such as a PhD. Thank you Richard and Carol for sharing your story.

<description>As I was listening to Richard talk about his wife and the support that he has provided for her. It is amazing that others are allowing and thinking of there partners. The support is very important.

I have 3 kids in a brick and motar JC, then I attend Capella. We all try to be supportive of each other. There is only one that doesn't work a paying job because she is to young (14). When she finishes high/college she will have an AS degree at the age of 18. The rest of us work and go to school full time. So we have to be supportive and respectful of our time to study, using the one computer among us and our social activities as a family. Thank you for the podcast support.

<description>This message was very interesting in which it makes me realize I am not alone. In a way sometimes it feels like being stuck with the computer, books and many papers on your table; when in reality it is an opportunity to learn. Lastly, I related to this message because it is hard to balance family, school and work. I really liked it and I am thankful that there are Podcasts that allow me to relate to others.

<description>I listened to the Richard Young interview and it caused me to look at my own situation as a Capella learner. My wife is very supportive and has helped to make my journey here as a Capella learner managable. I thing that I will do after listeing to this wonderful interview is to tell my wife thinks for her effort and her assistance during this process. My two daughters have also given of their time to assist me in this process and I am prompted to thank them for being wonderful Support Specialists.
